I would like to take some time in this post to tell you a little bit about the team that Liz and I will be a part of on our trip to Bolivia. The other team members on this trip are all from Mountain Christian Church which is located in Cedar Crest, NM in the mountains just east of Albuquerque. The members of our team include Matt (Team Leader), Marv, Patty, Sami, Taylor, Lexi, David, Ashley, Erin, Jacob, Brian and Kevin plus Liz and I. A total of 14 of us. Liz and I were fortunate enough to get up to MCC in early May to meet the team when we had our initial trip meeting. Since then, we've particpated in team conference call meetings. Needless to say, Liz and I are very excited to be a part of the team and are looking forward to seeing what God has for all of us on our trip to Bolivia (Psalm 133).
As I mentioned previously, Mountain Christian Church has a Community-to-Community relationship with Horno C'Kasa B (near Sucre) in Bolivia via Food for the Hungry. They have already made several trips down there and will continue to send teams there over the next several years. Several of our team members on our trip have participated in previous trips so we'll have some seasoned veterans on the team. Below are two videos from previous trips that I would like to share with you all to help you get a better idea of Bolivia, the people and interactions we will have there.
